A Typical Session with I-THERM

In Simple Terms, we're encouraging the body to heal itself by stimulating its natural processes.

  1.  Initial Assessment

  • The practitioner evaluates your injury using diagnostic tools like ultrasound to understand the type and severity of the injury, ensuring the treatment is suitable.

2.  Application of the Device

  • The injured area is exposed, the flexible sillicone pad connected to the I-THERM is placed over the tissue, delivering contolled energy that penetrates up to six inches deep, raising the temperature locally by 10°F.

  • the temperature can be monitored and controlled if needed.

  • Session duration can vary from 20mins to 60mins depending on the practitioner and the injury.

3. Heating Process

  • The temperature rise signals the brain that something in wrong, prompting it to flood the area with cooler blood to correct the imbalance. This surge of blood begins shortly after the device is applied and typically takes a few minutes.

  • A confort mode named Pulse can be pressed if the heating sensation is uncomfortable.

4.Thermal Effects

  • This increased blood flow helps wash away inflammatory debris and brings healing factors like oxygen and platelets to the tissue.

  • The new blood helps reduce pain, repair soft tissues, and promote long-term healing.

5. Post Treatment and Further sessions

  • After the session the pad is removed, and the practitioner assesses any improvements in pain and mobility

  • Monitoring Progress: if there's a significant improvement (50-75%) after 3 sessions, treatment continues. For more severe injuries, 5-10 sessions may be required.

  • Treatment may be repeated multiple times a week depending on progress.

6. Benefits

  • Improved Healing: heat boost circulation, aiding in tissue repair

  • Pain and Muscles  Spam Relief

  • long term benefits: for a low-grade injury, removing inflammation should provide permanent results unless re-injured. For more severe injuries, this treatment can repair cartilage and soft tissue.
